A Walk to Remember

The walk down the aisle symbolizes one of the most profound journeys we take in life. It is the culmination of all of life's experience into one moment as you take a step slowly from one life into another. Who can forget A Walk to Remember?

In that moment when all eyes are on you, when everyone is thinking how beautiful you look, when the photographer is snapping away, will you be thinking "I wish we decorated the aisle?" I certainly hope not!

Here are some Aisles in Style for the big day:

Left: Tall orchids with votive candles at the base of the aisle. Right: Celebrity planner Mindy Weiss created a monogrammed runner with petals strewn at the edges and dendrobium orchids strung at the branches.

Orchids and roses line the pews at this NYC wedding.

The couple created this tented space for their "I Dos." Chiffon draped ceiling and walls, with chandeliers hanging at the center. Round centerpieces of white and pink roses on candelabras and arranged at the bottom of the aisle. A petal covered path leads to the groom. And check out the alter!

I love this idea for a outdoor ceremony. Mindy Weiss used chiavari chairs, a bed of white petals, and dendrobium orchids hanging from the tree. And as an extra special touch, this was the spot where the groom proposed! With such an amazing location, sometimes less is more.

Rose colored votives and just a touch of petals to compliment the damask runner. Tie pink tassels on the chiavari chairs.
