Barneys New York has always had a strong relationship with shoes—some might even call it ‘love’. Which is why, to celebrate the opening of the new shoe floor, Barneys has created Perfect Pairs: The Love Letters contest, to encourage its customers and friends to join in supporting the cause for marriage equality.
The contest asks for people to share their stories of love, stories of shoes, and the intersection of the two. The winner will take home a $5,000 Barneys New York gift card, and the winning letter will be featured on the Barneys New York Facebook page and on Barneys’ luxury content site, The Window.
As part of the Perfect Pairs campaign supporting the HRC and its Americans for Marriage Equality Program, Barneys New York has created Perfect Pairs: The Love Letters, a Facebook contest in which Barneys New York will donate $1 to the HRC for every love letter submitted between July 16 and August 3 and 10% of sales from the new shoe floor between Monday, July 16th and Sunday, July 22nd.
