Vintage Post: Suspended in Air

It's all about flowers and style, and these flowers are taking centerpieces to a whole new level. If you're like me, your jaw probably dropped the moment you saw this stunning event courtesy of Food+Flower+Style.

The look? Clear vases, each holding one white ranunculus are suspended in air by clear fishing line. Don't you just love how the beauty of the flower just stands (or floats) on its own? A runner's length of white florals and candles along the table compliment the florals from above. Repeated through, the look, quite simply is awe inspiring.

If your space, and budget allows, this design is something I know you and your guest would love to see. Or, on a much smaller scale this would be perfect for the engagement dinner or even a small and intimate dinner party.

Hopefully, we'll be able to see more of these beautiful centerpieces!

Any ideas about how to hang these beauties? I have begun making my own DIY hanging centerpieces, but when it comes to how I would actually suspend them over the tables, I'm clueless.

What a great idea. It looks amazing. And solves the problem of having an awesome centerpiece, one with height even, that doesn't block people from being able to see eachother at the table. I love it!

This is so unique and beautiful! Amazing! And I totally agree, solves the problem of not being able to see the person across from you with tall centerpieces. Perfect!

This setting is almost surreal! I simply have no words for it. It's like the Snow Queen is getting married! lol. Seriously, this is just fantastic.

My friends and I are looking for a way to decorate the entrance to my friend's wedding reception, and I think I found the answer. The unique and versatile glass bottles that are hung up would be perfect. I think it would be magical to walk down a hall with flowers suspended overhead, and maybe even add a few suspended candles, too. I truly think it would be perfect!
