TACORI, leaders in the jewelry and bridal industry, have partnered to host their second annual diamond scavenger hunt in Manhattan on September 25, 2010 at 12:00 noon entitled the “
Diamond Dash: Dash for a Diamond & a Cure™.”
So here's how it works: after receiving clues sent to their cell phones, dashers will travel between various destinations in New York. At each location they will be asked to take a photograph of themselves in front of the dash signage and send a code via text message. Valuable information will then be triggered which will help them solve a puzzle. The first five teams to correctly solve the puzzle after visiting all the dash locations will be finalists. Then, these finalists will compete in one last challenge for the grand prize.
The winning couple wins a gorgeous handcrafted Tacori engagement ring setting, matched with a Tacori Diamond, valued at approximately $20,000, and a five-day honeymoon to the Aventura Spa Palace, in the heart of the Riviera Maya in the Mexican Caribbean. The dash will culminate with a once-in-a-lifetime live marriage proposal! All participants will also win prizes from other partners, such as Ron Ben-Israel Cakes and NewlyWish.
And ladies, even if you are not the lucky winner of the grand prize, there is still a ton of goodies to be had from industry heavy weights including Bridal Reflections, Mionetto, Once Upon a Bride, Matthew Robbins and more by purchasing raffle tickets.
