Music of the Heart

Music - it touches our hearts and resonates with our soul. Few songs have the ability to reach across the span of time to touch generations past and present. For your wedding day, may I suggest these standards for your first dance, the last dance and everything in between?

"At Last"
"Bewitched, Bothered, and Bewildered"
"Beyond the Sea"
"Can't Help Falling In Love"
"Can't Take My Eyes Off Of You"
"Come Fly With Me"
"For Once in My Life"
"How Sweet It Is (To Be Loved by You)"
"I've Got You Under My Skin"
"It Had To Be You"
"Love Me Tender"
"My Funny Valentine"
"Save the Last Dance For Me"
"Someone to Watch Over Me"
"That's All"
"The More I See You"
"The Way You Look Tonight"
"What A Wonderful World"
"When I Fall In Love"

Use a modern day rendition of these classics for a twist. I hear Michael Buble's version of "The More I See You" is quite swell.

Just One

We stand corrected - one isn't the loneliest number. To celebrate the union of two people coming together as one, here are just a few beautiful monograms to symbolize the occasion from East Six . . .

Viva Las Vegas!

"Ladies and gentlemen - Elvis has left the building!" Gone are the days of Las Vegas being a destination of the cliched bachelorette party. Today's Las Vegas features a wealth of tasteful surprises to delight the senses, such as an array of relaxing spas, designer stores, and fine dining restaurants.

Make your bachelorette party one to remember with an intimate dinner with your girls at the gorgeous restaurant The Mix at The Hotel, Mandalay Bay. With breathtaking views of the city from the 60th floor and 14,000 hand blown glass bubbles to create a modern masterpiece you'll start to think Sin City is a bit of heaven on earth.

The only sin you'll be committing? Having entirely too good taste!

Paper Source

What type of wedding would you like to have? David Stark Design creates a beautiful setting for the 125th Anniversary Metropolitan Opera, infusing centuries old type into creative design that is sure to have your guests saying wow!

From the mind of David Stark: "Exploded, cropped, varied in type and color, the array of graphics not only provided a wonderful walk through the Opera’s historic identities in print but it transformed the tent into a three dimensional collage. Elegant banners gently fluttered above vases and luminaries wrapped with glowing prints from every time period. It didn’t really matter if you could read all of the text. We often cropped at such extreme angles to simply celebrate the sheer form of the lettering and push it into the realm of pattern."

Inspirational and innovative!
